Java and Android or C# and Unity - which is more profitable?

I can’t figure out which of the areas from an idea to a product takes less time - applications in Java and Android or games in C # and Unity, and what is more profitable to invest your time in 2018? I am 31 years old, have a family, have a main job not related to development, time only in the evenings (nights) and on weekends. Where is it easier and more profitable in my situation to realize myself? Has anyone been in this situation?

1. Learn English.
2. I would choose Java/Android from this list. It is more "flexible" in terms of use (IMHO). Yes, and others have described this in more detail;
3. The best way to learn programming faster is to find a personal mentor who will show you the way, help with "blunts", and working on live examples is much more useful than simple exercises from books / courses. Although the theory is also very important. But practice is better on a "live" project.
4. In our city, I practically did not see the necessary vacancies. So you are moving? Or cherish the dream of remote programming. Forget it. Without 3-5 years in the office - don't even try.

31 is normal. This is the age to change direction in your life. Many famous and ordinary people re-realized their role / goal / dream in the period of 30-35 years. And they changed drastically. The main thing is not to be afraid and move, and not dream and constantly ask yourself and others what to choose, is it worth it, etc., etc. Just Do It .
There was a colleague who left engineering at 40 for Java. And got a job after a while.
Was happy as an elephant. I don't know how he's doing now. But I think everything is fine.
Moscow is true.

At the main job. No kidding.
PS
If gamedev, I would choose Unity. For everything else, there is MasterCard (no) ... Cordova and more.

Gemdev with rare exceptions is not something that can be done in one person.

in which of the areas from idea to product takes less time
The one you know best.
Where is it easier and more profitable in my situation to realize myself?
It's easier - where you ALREADY have some kind of knowledge base.
If you want to do it from scratch, learn C# and Unity.

If you are interested in exactly "in which of the areas from an idea to a product it takes less time", then it is impossible to say for sure. Android (what I don’t know about iOS, but the situation is similar) is a very “stupid” system in terms of development, and at first attention will be paid not to the development itself, but to how to arrange everything so that it doesn’t fall and the ass doesn’t burn. If you decide, I advise the development course from Technostrim . This is not advertising, he himself started on it.
C# and Unity seem to me somehow more pleasant to develop, but there are also stumblings about the peculiarities of the platform. So everything is equivalent, choose what the soul burns for. If the soul does not burn, then maybe this is not necessary?
