Economist-accountant and adventure in the world of web development

Hello dear community :)
//I am 24 years old.
//I am an economist-accountant by education.
Need advice.
I believe that a person should be a professional in one thing.
Then, it will be unique, and most importantly, in demand => happy.
(Don't try to delve into my philosophy of life)
Everything was fine, I studied well, read a lot of economic literature, but then I got a personal computer. At first, I only used it for school and/or work. Then I played computer games a little, but most of the time was spent on learning web programming languages (I remember how today I created a static html page for the first time - "Hello, world!" And then it started ...), and from that time, I learned a lot of web programming languages and started making money on it.
But there is also the other side of the coin - I began to forget accounting and a lot of the economy as a whole. I'm not talking about the formulas for calculating the length of the conveyor line :) I stopped reading books on economics and became interested in general. And now, I understand that the competition in the web services market is pushing me out. And that it can't always be like this.
What do you think, should I forget about programming in general, and do something else that I love - boom. taking into account and analyzing economic activity in general, find a good job and / or create it?
After all, I can not pull to be a "professional" in two areas :)
How to be? Hone your knowledge of web development to perfection or catch up?
I will be grateful for adequate answers and advice.

You should ask the programmers what their education is, the answers would surprise you, for example, I was a manager, I also studied as an economist and programmer.
Do what you like.
