Run a browser on a Linux server?

There is Wirth. the machine is on openvz, you need the ability to run a browser in it (firefox, chrome, etc.). Sometimes you need to see what's going on with that browser (VNC?). What is the best way to do it in order not to heavily load server resources (ie gnome/kde disappear)?

Maybe someone has a useful article bookmarked on this topic, how to raise it all?

What do you need a browser for? There are different libraries that emulate browser engines.

Well. install vnc4sever, configure fluxbox to run inside it and go.

Are there X's in OpenVZ? I have never met, if they are not there, then do not run them.

The easiest way is probably to install freenx-server and connect to it as needed.

Hm. Dug in there, remembered the topic.
It turns out that I wrote a manual for your case - debian.pro/515

@Aramaki

if I need a browser in the console, then in 99% of cases Lynx is enough (the system does not load :) )
