RAID 10 of 8 disks what is the advantage?

Can you please explain what is the advantage of RAID 10 of 8 drives versus RAID 10 of 4 drives? (SSD)
In the first case there will be 4 mirror pairs, in the second 2. Fault tolerance does not seem to increase much.
And in general, how good is RAID 10 from SSD for storage?
On Habré , a person did a test, according to graphs like in RAID 10 with random reading (test 7), the performance of the array is much higher than just in the mirror. Again, here on the toaster they said that 10 RAID gives only an advantage for sequential reading, "but the random access speed will remain at the same level."

2 times more than the volume available to the user (with equal volumes of disks)
Fault tolerance is not particularly increased like.
Fault tolerance is not increased at all.
And in general, how good is RAID 10 from SSD for storage?
I would use RAID-1. SSDs are already fast + fault tolerance 1 is higher than that of 10.

IMHO, raid10 on ssd is needed for super reliability. If you don't have a lot of budget, then raid5+spare is better. And, of course, a raid does not replace a backup.
