Proper transition from HDD to SSD?
Hello everyone The
question is hackneyed, but I would like to clarify a few nuances for a clear understanding.
Given: HDD disk for 1 TB. Partitioned into drive C (system 180 GB) and drive D (multimedia 750 GB)
Ordered HDD: Samsung MZ-V7S250BW 250 GB to use purely under Windows + software.
Questions: 1. What is the best way: to install a new Windows on an SSD or transfer the old one? It doesn’t matter to me in general, but for some reason everyone writes about the transfer and no one about the installation is clean. How is it better?
2. After installing / throwing Windows on the SSD. Can I format the HDD completely and use ACRONIS to merge the old C / D partitions into one common disk, for example "M" - multimedia 1 TB.
Thanks a lot

1. not essential.
2. you can. not only with acronyms, but also with the native means of the system.
Samsung has native transfer software, you just need to pick up an ssd drive and run the software
