How to connect new hdd to HP ml350 G6 server?

Good afternoon.
There is an HP ml350 G6 server and a non-original disk with a Toshiba dt01aca100 sled for 1TB, what needs to be done for the server to see it? When you try to stick it into the front panel, the green LED opposite the disk flashes 2 times, and after a couple of minutes the cooling system turns on at maximum power.
there is no disk in the BIOS and when the system boots, if the disk is turned off, the coolers return to their original speed.
So the question is, what am I doing wrong? what could be the problem? what is worth checking?
PS
in the server there are 2 raids with 2 disks in each (it seems original HP)
I shove a new disk into the lower free cells.

@Besorab

it turned out that the built-in controller (Smart Array P410i) does not work with individual disks.
(I found here forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?id=66:8533)
although I didn’t find how to make a raid from one disk and add it to existing ones, sadness is trouble.

Tin. Question for many years. And no one answered properly. The controller works with separate disks, just to use more than 4 you need to have a raid cache - a slot with RAM for the controller and a battery or supercapacitor. Everything works fine after that. How - you go to the Linux console through the hpacucli utility and attach a new physical disk in it, which you create as a logical one with the appropriate type - sata or sac ... The manual for the hpacucli utility is full on the network.
Or - reboot the server and select the F8 button at the stage of determining the raid controller, then click Create Logical Vshyl (or Drive, I don’t remember) and select your single disk, create it as Raid0.
And the server could buzz loudly, because the disk is non-native and does not show the temperature with the sensor, for this, in order not to overheat, the server gives the command to work the coolers at full capacity, or vice versa, it showed that it had warmed up, so the cooler started to spin.
The easiest option is how to insert a sata disk - you can put it next to the DVD rum, the motherboard is full of sata connectors. You just need to put an adapter with a molex of power on the sata.
PS The weak point of this server was only an unventilated basket, we put a regular molex-powered cooler over the basket... Therefore, you should not load the basket too much with disks, but put a satash exactly where the dvd rum is, and then the air will blow it better ..
