Placing virtual servers on Xen at Hetzner'a?
We are considering transferring some of the systems we use to external hosting. As such, I have now settled on the hetzner, PX-series.
Do I need to buy additional ip-addresses and subnets for virtual machines that will be hosted on Xen, or is there no extra financial movement to use 192.168.xx?

Are virtual machines supposed to be exposed to the Internet? Will they need personal public ip?
If the answer to both questions is "yes", then buy it. If the answer to any of the questions is "no", then no. In the first case, everything is obvious, in the second it is solved by forwarding the necessary ports from the host machine.
192.168.x.x are part of the pool of IP-shniks that are not used on the Internet, that is, they can and should be used as an IP distribution in local networks. I think someone will throw off a link to a complete list of IPs allowed for such purposes.
No, hatzner does not use 192.168.0.0/16.
But it is impossible to release traffic outside with such addresses - they will do an attack.
Configure so that traffic with private addresses goes only inside the machine. In general, it is rather difficult to make this traffic go outside, but you can click the "bridged network" button in the wrong place. You need NAT.
By the way, they give a /64 network of v6 addresses for free, this allows you to slightly solve the problems of access to machines from the outside for management =)
