Pixel format?

I got a new ips monitor, there was a pixel format setting in the amd drivers.
Info on the network made it clear how these formats work, but I did not find which format for what purposes is better to use.
Please tell me which format is less damaging to the eyes and what monitor / driver settings can be done so that the picture is less “poisonous”.

You interested me with your question, because. Recently, I also got ips and a video card also from ati. This format determines the color coding of each pixel. As you know, color can be decomposed into 3 independent components. YCrBr decomposes into a b / w channel and 2 color channels - this principle underlies the analog TV signal so that old b / w TVs can display color broadcasts using only the first channel. Since a person notices a change in brightness better than color changes, it makes sense to spend fewer bits on coding color channels than on brightness. 4:2:2 means that the color resolution is halved compared to the brightness, and at 4:4:4 they are equal. In addition, there is also RGB 4:4:4 in the settings - here all the channels are naturally the same. But why this is done on the monitor, it is not clear.
It has nothing to do with eye damage.
