Good day to all!

Recently, at the university, I was given the task of making a website in PHP, but using the base - MSSql Compact Edition.

As far as I know, the database server is nothing more than a set of dll libraries. Therefore, the usual database connection structure, such as mssql_connect, will not work.

In general, the question is: is it possible to somehow connect PHP and MSSQl compact edition? The first idea is to specify some dll from compact itself in php.ini. Though I'm not sure if that would be the right way. Or to score on the whole thing and not fool anyone's head?
