Perspectives of a novice c++ developer?
Hello.
Literally that week I defended my diploma, now the question arose of finding a job. I wanted to know your opinion, what are the prospects in my situation or, perhaps, should I first supplement the baggage, and only then try to stick out of the hole?
I got interested in programming about 4 years ago, but all this time it was purely a hobby - i.e. a couple of hours a week, with rare exceptions (well, labs at the university, of course). Initially, I got carried away with game development, collected a couple of simple games on unity + c #, posted it on Google Play. As you might guess, they didn't bring me anything. Since then, a lot of time has passed and the Sharpe itself (which, in fact, did not know), along with the engine, has already been forgotten.
Then I switched to C++ and became interested in game hacking. The language itself, I would like to believe, I know quite well (but not the implementations of c ++ 11/14/17), I also studied WinAPI according to Petzold's book and for all my subsequent programs I made an interface only on it (+ at the university itself I collected labs and term papers in c++builder). During this time, I have written about a dozen simple games and applications (Tetris / snakes / platformers / engineering calculator) for self-satisfaction, and I also write small trainers and mods in c ++ + winapi for one of the famous games, one of which (reads information about enemy players, saving and displaying it, and also displays additional information in the form of an overlay using the interception of dx functions) has gained popularity and is actively used by players. In addition to full-fledged trainers, I wrote many scripts on the assembler under the cheat engine.
Now I am studying Qt (under Windows, I have never used Linux) and algorithms from Skiena's book, I plan to finish mastering them by the end of summer.
On this, in fact, my activities and experience in the programming environment are completed. Are there any chances in this situation to get somewhere in the position of a junior, even for the lowest salary, or is the knowledge base too small and something else needs to be studied?

If you have a question after the defense, then it’s all over.
Go where they will let you in
. Your trainee level. Whether
or not there are chances - you will find out at the interviews.
1) Go to interviews
2) After each interview, work on the bugs that you don’t know how to learn
3) Work with the database (sqLite in your own cheat, for the sake of experience)
It’s too early with your knowledge in the infobase, but you can try.
It is quite possible to get into all sorts of research centers and enterprises (where they program microcontrollers and other embedded and about embedded crap)
what are the prospects in my situation
