PCI-E X16 ver. 1.0 VS PCI-E X8 ver. 2.0 which is better?

Good day to all. Straight to the point, there are two system units and one video card, the system units are old, and the video card is quite fresh on the PCI-E X16 3.0 interface. By the will of fate, I have to choose between these two machines, according to the characteristics, they are almost the same, BUT one has a PCI-E X16 version 1.0 slot and the second PCI-E X8 version 2.0.
The problem is that you need to stick the card one by one into one and the other and see where it is not possible to be faster, you need to decide blindly .... Can someone tell me which is better to choose, on the old version 1.0 but with 16 lines or less adequate version 2.0 but with 8 lines? And yes, I support the option to buy a normal mother, it is the coolest, but it’s not like it’s for yourself, and you can’t change the conditions of the puzzle ....

@VK6600

V1 - x16 - 4.0 GB/s
V2-x8-4.0 GB/s
So fuck it.
But - the mother with v2 is probably newer. It has a more energy-efficient process .... And so on.
I'm for a newer one. Then you can if that change the mother and take it with a normal slot.
