PC or PS4 for gaming?

I haven't played with toys for 7 years, I'm all at work. Now I want something. And I think it’s not bad to get distracted, relax in the evening with your wife / friends.
Now from gadgets there is only macbook pro. It's not very easy to play it alone.
Hence the question. What's better, take a ps4 and not bother? Or build a gaming PC and connect it to the TV? What are the pros and cons of these options?

For starters, MacBooks (even the top-end Pros) are not for gaming. There shouldn't even be such thoughts.
If friends, wife, TV, relax in the evenings, then this is exclusively PS4.
PC is not for:
Unless, of course, the wife and friends have their own separate PCs to organize the game "over the network."

I took a sidekick to drive on ps4, I realized that the computer is just resting compared to it, I chose it for myself with a memory of 1tb, well, you can watch Bluray :)

Definitely ps4. Especially now with so many exclusives available. Plug it in and play, you don't have to worry about anything. Games can be taken used or exchanged. + you can still buy the most affordable VR helmet on the market.

There are a lot of exclusives coming to PS4 - often they are either for solo, or for duo play, or for trash like arcade racing
Peck arcade racing for shooters or strategies (RTS)
But your choice depends on your company - maybe you all have enough fumes from Wii
