Good day, I would like to build a system for limiting the time of the PC (console) for my Internet cafe. Those. there is a PC (and a console too) and they need to work only when paying with cash or a card (directly on these PCs / consoles), essentially like a slot machine. For example, if it is a smart socket for a screen, then how can it be connected to a POS terminal. Surely such systems already exist, I just could not find data on this, maybe someone is familiar with this or has thoughts on how this can be done?

At the beginning of the 2000s, most cafes used some kind of homemade products, but around 2005-2008 they were supplanted by ready-made "boxed" systems, and they are easily googled . We once used Locker.
For set-top boxes, I don’t know if it’s possible to sew something into them, but at least you can turn off the monitor with a smart socket.
