OpenWRT on mikrotik without Metarouter, is it possible from SD card?
There is RB750g3
In general, how to flash a Mikrotik so that later people with hardware for firmware do not have to carry it and can be returned back to RouterOS, can I use an SD card for this?
Thank you.

Will we hammer nails with our favorite microscope? :)
I strongly do not recommend installing another OS on Mikrotik. They (not native wasps) do not work correctly with the internal flash. The degradation is significant.
If the question is about money and you want to tie a torrent, then it would be better to implement it on RosburyPi (or an analogue), it will give many advantages (torrent, cloud, web server, etc.)
Installed OpenWRT on RB750g3, transferred rootfs to the SD card (the presence of an SD slot is a big advantage over similar platforms). Solve my problems, completely satisfied.
The raspberry pi only has one ethernet port, so it didn't work for me.
