openvpn not working nat why?

Hello everyone, there is a router and it has an autonomous system, and blocked provider sites.
To get around, I raised openvpn to vps, there is a connection, there are pings to blocked sites, on the microte itself through the interface if there is a ping.
but nothing arrives to the network for subscribers.
Subscriber IP block 172.16.0.0/16 address of the internal address of the OVPN tunnel.
Help me to understand.

I can assume that routing to blocked resources from the local network is configured incorrectly - check with a trace. And yet, it seems to me that it would be more correct to configure nat only on vps, and on vps specify reverse routes to the local area through the openvpn tunnel.
