NVidia Tegra vs Intel Atom vs AMD APU?
I'm going to take a tablet, but I can not decide on the model. Namely, I stalled on the choice of processor. The operating time of Atom is not much less than that of ARM (and it is still unknown what AMD has with this), but what about performance? Which architecture produces more flops?

Initially, you need to understand that Android does not officially support x86. With AMD APU, I personally have never seen anything. So take Tegra 2 for yourself, and we will be absolutely happy for you for a year and a half, that's for sure.
Um, standard - internet, video, reading, games. All sorts of experiments - is it possible to comfortably code on this, and is it possible to comfortably type text (well, I mock all devices like that). If I buy x86, I will try to install Ubuntu and IDE and experiment with it. If ARM, then I'll dig into the arm version of Ubuntu. I just don’t want to buy a new one every six months because the old one is obsolete. To take 2-3 years, he served me faithfully.
For a long time I have been looking for a working tablet - a laptop, as a result, my choice fell on Samsung slide pc , but unfortunately they are not on sale yet, although they promised to start sales in March. In my opinion, this is an ideal tool for work and active movement. I won’t say anything about the tegra. it automatically excludes the use of Windows (Visual Studio, Matlab, PLC clients). AMD promises very tasty stones in the future , only products based on them will be on sale, probably only in a year.
There is only one tablet OS so far - Android (iOS, as I understand it, can be ignored in this context).
Touch interfaces for Windows are crooked. Applications usually do not know about them.
Ubuntu without keyboard and mouse is not usable.
So you have to take a tegra or wait until they finish it.
