Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB or >10GB?

Greetings.
RTX 3080 sales start on September 17. Considering the price ($700 = up to 55k including shipping to Russia), this is an excellent card.
Refs with better cooling will obviously be more expensive, and the Founders Edition turned out to be very interesting this time.

Actually the question is, will 10 GB be enough for games with max settings and rays at a resolution of 3440 * 1440 for 2 years (until the next generation is released)?
Yesterday I saw the news that they could allegedly introduce the RTX 3080 with increased video memory in early October.

Waiting for October is risky. sell out quickly. And if miners also join... I
also doubt that the 3080 will be lowered in price if it succeeds with Big Navi from AMD.

3440 x 1440 < 3840 x 2160 (4K).
For 4K, 8Gb is enough
