Nook or Kindle?

I'm going to the states and I want to buy a reader.

The following parameters are of interest:
1) the ability to install Russian fonts
2) hackability (I think I heard that something does not break from the new batches, I can be wrong)
3) hyphenation in the text
4) battery operation

Please tell me if you have experience using these devices .
Or maybe it's worth looking towards Sony?

for nuk Android
against - a battery (an additional LCD screen eats it up)
Russian fonts are not needed for hoodlit - everything works
anyway about transfers I didn’t understand - in principle there are none - sometimes transfers (mediocre) sometimes not (depends on the file)
if about PDF Reflow - "computer" literature looks terrible - formatting of tables and diagrams is moving around
Kindle has a newer screen -
I bought Nook whiter and faster, although the choice was
due to its openness

As someone who held both pieces of iron habrahabr.ru/blogs/ebooks/105400/ , I’ll tell Kindle Kindle
’s advantages:
1) It’s easier, it’s very important for me
2) It lives much longer on a single charge, it’s critical on vacation
3) Better screen
4) Cheaper
What would To be objective, the advantages of Nuka:
1) A color screen for navigation, though he did not please me with the response
2) Android with all the consequences. If you want to write something of your own, this can be a decisive factor in choosing

I heard that the latest Sonys (650 I think) are very good. I myself have a Sony 550 and I am very pleased

Definitely Kindle
- No need to break, and so everything works correctly
- It is twice as light as Nuka
- The screen is better than Nuka's
The only negative, if you are in Russia - you need to bathe with buying devices through intermediaries.

I didn’t use Nuk, I’ll tell you about the Kindle, I read art literature in mobi from litres & flibusta
1) Rus. fonts out of the box
2) there were articles on habré, but personally I don’t need it, I’m completely satisfied as it is
3) there are no transfers, and I didn’t notice the need for them
4) in my mode: 10 days from incl. wifi + 3g or 20 days without an Internet, charging quickly
did not like one thing: book management made by collections (tezhe tags), and even without a Russian keyboard.

LCD is harder to read than e-ink, but the latter needs light.
Kindle has problematic software and PDF display is lame, reflow is not.
