How to generate interactive PDF content based on text formatting?
Hello.
There is a PDF in which the headings have a separate uniform formatting. I would like to just specify the formatting style, press the OK button and get a tree of named bookmarks. As a fallback, the output is not necessarily bookmarks, but a page with links to places in the document.
Are there scripts/programs that do this?

Theoretically, the script is possible.
1. Take pdf2ps, convert the book to PostScript,
2. See how the first heading looks in it... It's not easy, and most likely, laziness wins at this stage%)
3. If not, then find the next use of the same font of that the same height and determine on which page it happened is already a matter of technology.
It is better not to rely on the font width - it could be reduced during layout for a specific headline that does not fit well.
