"Network cable is not connected" periodically reports the PC, how to fix it?
An ordinary PC on Windows XP SP3, with an indefinite frequency when turned on, the "network cable is not connected" icon immediately appears, no manipulations with the software help, just remove the twisted pair cable from the network card and connect it back. Moreover, if you remove the twisted pair cable from the socket on the wall, then nothing will happen, you need to remove it from the system unit.
ps Drivers and network cards tried to change - does not help.
What kind of fantasy is this?

replace two patch cords from the socket to the PC and from the plinth to the switch, also ring the link to the socket
Did you check the contacts in the network card connector for integrity? And the cord is not pinched anywhere? Is the cable subject to physical impact?
It was similar with the built-in network card. The problem was solved by installing another network card in a free pci slot.
I support the idea about the cord, it is likely that the problem is in it.
