How to connect 2 computers + tablet via wifi?

There is an Asus RT-N66U router, it distributes the Internet. The signal level in my room is ~30%.
There are 2 desktop computers, Win7 professional system and iPad
. Required: connect them to the router.
I tried whistles, the signal level is low, constant disconnects. Previously, Dir-320 stood on dd-wrt in access point mode, distributed the Internet via lan to 1 computer, the connection is stable, the speed is also. But, unfortunately, he died.
Questions:
1) what is the best way to connect 2 computers to a router with an acceptable signal?
2) If you take a router and configure it as a repeater for distributing WiFi for the iPad, will it still distribute the Internet via lan to 2 computers?
3) Are there access points with several lan ports? And will she distribute the Internet to 2 computers via lan?
What is the best way to connect for my case?

either buy a more powerful antenna, or stick a twisted pair cable into the lan ports and drag it to the computers. the Internet has to distribute on all interfaces.

pci card with antennas (possibly remote) and there will be happiness.

For starters, I would check the load on the channels and find out which one the router is running on.
Workload can be measured by phone / tablet. There is a wifi analyzer for android, there are similar applications for iOS, but I don’t know the names.
Perhaps the problem is easily solved. If not, then you can make WDS using another access point.
