NAS with hardware disk encryption (except Synology)?
Dear, tell me a NAS with hardware disk encryption in addition to the Synology line. Models of the home \ small office segment up to $ 1000 are of interest. I would like to know if there is an alternative.

I advise you NOT to take these, just take a computer (albeit a small one) and put the software there yourself. Encrypt too to software.
The reason is very simple - if suddenly your Synology becomes ill in 5 years, you may well be left with encrypted disks that cannot be opened by anything.
And I myself tend to use a self-assembled solution, but the guys have already taken Synology. The fear of staying with encrypted disks is not as great as the fear of unauthorized access to these disks. In addition, as I understand it, Synology can only encrypt a shared folder (a certain shared resource), and not the entire disk.
