Multicast broadcast with periodic insertion of content?
Good day to all, it
is planned to launch an information channel on monitors within the organization. From the point of view of the equipment, everything is clear, and in general the whole system is configured and works on VLC (multicast broadcast on android boxes with mxplayer)
But there is one implementation requirement, you need to periodically interrupt the broadcast of the main content and start the video with advertising, and then continue to broadcast the main content from the stop before the advertisement.
How and on what can it be implemented?

In the transport stream for each program, when generating content, a certain marker is placed, indicating the beginning and end of the ad block. On a platform that broadcasts directly to the network, an ad unit is inserted between a pair of tokens.
If you are accepting a stream from someone, then there are no free working solutions for inserting ads.
If you build it yourself, well, add or paste (cut to the right place, attach the ad, and then the second end) the desired video through ffmpeg.
