Monitor History

Hi all.
Once upon a time I had an LG Flatron W2346T monitor turned on via dvi-d in mac mini.
At first it began to turn off from time to time, then when it was turned on, such ripples began to appear on it, like the channel on the TV was not tuned. Then the monitor began to squeak with such a nasty sound that was barely audible. Well, in the end, the monitor broke down completely - it stopped turning on, and instead of turning it on, it just emitted that very shrill squeak.

Without further ado, I slyly thought that this was a glitch of the monitor and dragged it back to the store under warranty, they successfully replaced it with a new samsung syncmaster F2380 (with a surcharge).

And so I seemed to be pleased with myself, sat behind him and rejoiced, but now the same symptoms began to appear as those of his colleague, and then I realized that it was not the monitor at all, but something was interfering with it, maybe a small voltage or something then.

In general, if there are more experienced people here in such matters, then please tell me why this happens and what needs to be done.

This is observed with any non-Apple monitor that works with Apple technology. After waking up from hibernation, ripples from a few seconds to two minutes. Passes after turning off and on the monitor. The rest of the symptoms are unfamiliar to me.

I don't claim to be authentic. But with such symptoms, I was informed about the absence of earth in the outlet (as it turned out later in the whole house (grounding)). I am inclined to believe this diagnosis, because a lot of equipment in that house, for inexplicable reasons, was buggy and dying.
Are you using a UPS?

According to the symptoms, you have problems with the power supply both here and there, and if the first monitor is cheap consumer goods, the second one is already more or less decent. Most likely a network problem.
