Is it possible to connect a 2560x1440 monitor to an old graphics card?

I'm considering buying a new monitor. I think I’ll immediately take 27 "2560x1440. I haven’t decided on a specific model yet, but they all come with HDMI and / or DisplayPort. On the Internet, they write a lot about some versions of hdmi, lower hertz at high resolution, etc. As far as I understand, Ideally, a modern monitor should be connected via DisplayPort. The
card is currently old, Radeon HD 4830.There are only two DVI ports. The characteristics of the card indicate support for 2560x1600 resolution. Please
tell me if it is possible to somehow connect a new monitor to an old card, via Are there any adapters or do you still have to buy a video card with DisplayPort?

The first thing to try is a DVI to HDMI cable.
Cheap and simple. If it goes - it's in the bag.

Now there is HDMI 1.4 (Supports 4k only at @30 or 24Hz) and HDMI 2.0 fully supports (4K @ 60Hz) hdmi 2.0 (the wire itself (with low resistance) + connectors on both sides of hdmi 2.0) 2560x1600 support DVI (but none of these DVI 5 options) DVI-I and DVI-D (single and dual link). If I were you, I would immediately focus on 4k, it will be with a margin. (The cheapest vidyuhi that supports 4K I found is GT 1030 (ports hdmi 2.0 and DP 1.4) (we have it costs about 75 Uero + there is Low Profile support for media centers. From the AMD side, you can use video cards starting with R3 or R7
If talking about the resolution of 2560x1600, almost all video cards with hdmi and dvi support.I personally, according to the model on the off site, I always looked there immediately, for example, the maximum resolution of analog singal and digital.
If you use your video card, you can find a Display port to DVI adapter. And the DVI to DVI cable.
If you already have a modern percent. type core i of the second and higher generation. dvi should safely pull a resolution of 2560x1600, and starting from the 3rd or 4th generation, the built-in IGPU video already supports 4k, hdmi 1.4 @ 30Hz and Displayport 4k @ 60hz
