Video cards
Konstantin, 2018-12-19 08:43:29

What video adapter?

Tell me, please, I'm tormented by agony, which video card to take - GTX1070 or GTX 1080?
Existing Configuration:
ASUS B360-Pro TUF Gaming
Intel Core i5 8600
8+8Gb RAM
700w BP
SSD System. Now installed GTX 970, I want to change. I do not consider the Ti-version, because in the first case it is close to 1080 in terms of money, and in the second it is a little expensive.
Oh yes, I almost forgot - the monitor is 27", 60 Hz.

now with the next decline of mining for completely different money, cards for about a year can be found on sale with the rest of the 3-year warranty, documents.
so the question of cost is not so acute. 1080ti about 30k can be found.
but I would not change 970 to 1070 - the difference is not great, there will be no wow effect.

1060 is enough to play on ultra) Therefore, I see no reason to buy 1080 ... In general, a new line comes out in January .. I would wait, because the cards are already 2 years old, but they cost like new ones ...

GTX 1070 no longer pulls 60fps all games on fullhd. Definitely take 1080.
Ps in the secondary market 1080 can be taken for 18-19k.

Stupid question. If you have enough money for 1080, then of course it is better to take 1080. Of course, if we are talking about 1070 ti and 1080, then there is not much difference.
