Missing permissions on ATI 6970?

In principle, everything is quite simple.
I love playing in windowed mode. Before that, there were different video cards, x1950, 2900, 4870, gt260, 5830, now 6970. Actually, I have been sitting in windowed mode since 4870, I usually played at a resolution of 1440 * 990, 1376 * 768, (With a total monitor resolution of 2960 * 1050) on 6970 these permissions are gone. There are 1280*800 and 1280*960 left, right after them - 1680*1050.
I really want to return the usual resolution, but the classic method described in the search engine (adding supported resolutions for the video card to the registry) did not help. Maybe the community will help? )
UPD: Catalyst 10.12, driver 8.801-101125a-10989c-ATI

Looks like they dropped this feature a long time ago. Try a third party PowerStrip, I don't know.

I don’t know about ati, but I did something similar to Nvidia - there, before installation, one config file is edited.
maybe the idea is the same.

I recently encountered a similar problem, it was required to add non-standard resolutions to the system: 1400x1050 and 1680x945.
At first I tried through PowerStrip, but it kept stretching these resolutions to all 1680x1050, in general, because of its settings, I had to reinstall the drivers.
I downloaded RivaTuner, through it it was very easy to add the necessary permissions, now everything works as I wanted.
GTX260 card, drivers 260.99.

• Open regedit, go here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\ {BCD06F42-3F47-40EC-A9AD-3FAACCFDE81B} \0000 The
part in italics is marked, which may be different, refer to "Device Description".
• Edit the "DALNonStandardModesBCD1" parameter, replacing unnecessary permissions with the necessary ones, like this:
