Local area network between home and office?
Hello. Don't drink too much.
There is: At work, a video surveillance server, 1C, NAS, etc. Mikrotik router.
The task is as follows: you need to be able to work at home as if you were in a local network in the office, that is, watch cameras, watch the 1C database, see NAS, see ZABBIX charts, etc.
1) Do I understand correctly that you need to raise a VPN pptp server on mikrotik, and connect from home as a client?
Or are there better solutions, or faster ones?
2) What do you need for comfortable work? The maximum upload speed in the office, and downloading at home?

IPSec is everything. in tunnel mode.
At home, I even raise secondary DNS indicating primary to clerical - so that clerical names can be used (such as site1.kontora.local). But at home, respectively, you also need a Mikrotik. And so that anyone does not go to my network - I jam the "superfluous" ones with the same Mikrotik.
PPTP is acceptable if you hammer a big bolt on security and you need an exit from only one single wheelbarrow.
The concept of "comfortable work" - it is different for everyone. I now have a ping to home computers from work - 2.5 ms, in my opinion it is quite comfortable, although of course you can’t watch the video ...
