Building your own Android VPN client?

I'm trying to make a VPN client for android, the connection type is IPSec PSK, there is a ready-made server, if you go to the phone settings and make a profile, then everything works fine. But how to implement a connection from your own application is already a big question.

On Android there doesn't seem to be native support and I can't find sources on github that could help.
