Is there a problem with Macbook late 2013 with Iris Pro?
Hello. Now I use Acer 7745g i7 720qm, 8 GB RAM, hard drives in the laptop 2 in total 1TB, Win 7 HP. I am an IT student (programs related to the study of Matlab, Matcad, AutoCad, a little 1C, etc.). In addition to the university, I do web programming (you need a local server with an IDE).
Now I'm thinking of changing my PC. After reviewing the store catalogs and comparing all the tests, I settled on the Macbook Pro Retina 15 variant in the simplest configuration. At the expense of a small hard drive, I'm not worried, because there is an external one. I have never used Mac OS.
So, what interests me somewhere in December was going to make a purchase just in time for the New Year holidays, prices in some stores decreased slightly, on the forums I came across a problem in new MAcbooks with iris pro 5200 that it overheats and is soldered in the SC. Does this problem really exist? And will I have difficulty migrating to a Mac from Widows for my needs? Or buy just buy a laptop on Windows 8 tiled? Or just stay with what you have? Please advise.

What don't you like about your current laptop? Buy a better ssd and keep going.
Somewhere since the month of '13, the flight is normal. Rather, these are isolated cases, and subjectively it does not heat up at all
