Is there a PC laptop that has the same battery life as a MacBook (8+ hours)?

I have never worked with a macbook before, and at my current job they issued a macbook pro (2016 seems to be the year). I didn’t really get used to the OS for two years, but what I really liked was that it keeps the battery for a very long time: with an average load of 8-10 hours and even more. I didn't think it was possible.
I would very much like to purchase a PC laptop of a similar (or newer, taking into account the elapsed time) configuration, which would hold the same amount of battery. Well, or at least 5-6 hours. Do such models exist? In a very ideal way - so that so much comes out on Linux (I have never been able to set consumption in it less than in windows, although it is still possible that I am doing something wrong).
Previously, I used Sony VAIO (maximum three hours), HP EliteBook (squeezed 4 out of force when it was new, at low load under factory windows).
Thanks in advance for your recommendations!

asus zenbook. In the course of six months, kept for 8 hours. Further - as lucky. Naturally, in the configuration WITHOUT discrete vidyahi, ONLY ssd and all that.

I have one Chinese laptop, Chuwi LapBook 15.6 I took it in China for only $ 170 about a year ago
It is not very suitable for work, according to its characteristics it is more like a tablet with a keyboard or a netbook: 4 GB op DDR3L; 64 GB built-in eMMC memory; battery 10,000 mAh. The screen is disgusting.
But the battery holds well for a very long time, enough for the whole day with an average load (browsing, working with web interfaces, admin panels, etc.). I haven’t seen such a long-lasting battery even among expensive laptops on Windows)
This device helped me out more than once due to the battery, but for very simple tasks - as a working tool it is completely unsuitable. I thought to roll some kind of lightweight Linux distribution like Elementary OS on it, but somehow my hands did not reach.
Well, as a matter of fact, there are no better Macs among laptops in nature (subjectively)

Most probably not.
Either it will be a "typewriter", or an ultrabook with a horse price (at a price comparable to mac)
The whole problem is in the OS.
Those. Windows is not as battery efficient as MacOS.
