Is there a chance for an inexperienced person to start a career on Upwork?

Hello!
It's probably obvious, and I myself saw that a similar question has already been asked here, and more than once. However, things may have changed since then. If the respected moderation is still not happy with the fact that I put it again, you can freely delete it! :]
In general, I'm interested in the following: I'm a person who has been programming for a long time, knows the theory, and has experience in creating applications "for myself", but I don't have commercial development experience, and I didn't work in this direction in the team either. Is there a chance for me to be accepted as an Upwork job executor?
If there is no chance, I would like to know from you why? And what are the prospects for taking possession of it, if they exist in principle?
Clarification specifically on my stack: React + Node + TypeScript (I also know pure JS), MongoDB, PostgreSQL.

Can you explain how you can know all this stack without any real (commercial) development experience?
Because, on the one hand, the obvious answer suggests itself - there is nothing to do on Upwork without experience. More precisely, the fate of undercoders awaiting you, who are fighting with the Indians for the cheapest orders.
But on the other hand, the stack is excellent, and if you really know it and are able to take an order and complete it with high quality from and to, then you have every chance of success.

No
The time when we climbed in there without knowing anything has passed.
Now everyone has become much more formalized in order to carefully weed out the incompetent, So alas

In words, you are Leo Tolstoy, but in reality ... show GitHub.

KMK office and then either to the capital or an international company. You will receive more than on freelancing + all sorts of goodies such as paid vacation, sick leave (on freelancing you can’t get sick for a long time, it’s PPC what a drawdown in money ...), medical insurance and other things. Do not listen to webdev stories about $50/hour, the average rates are 15-25, the top 25 allows you to go full-time at 6 hours and the salary is higher than in the company (6 hours of real work is really a lot and it’s difficult to work like that for a long time, and how will it differ from the office?))), but without the rest of the goodies. The most maximum is 35 and that is usually for agencies, the above are already exceptions. And yes, now the reality is that there are few large projects (thanks to covid incl.) and competition with top rated plus Indians who have 100+ projects, 99 jss and a rate of $20)))

Why not filter posts? A person enters the word freelancing, tries to publish it, but the resource does not give him, referring to an article that describes why freelancing has nothing to do with a career and there is nothing to do there, especially for a beginner.
