Is the read/write speed of the HDD normal?

I welcome everyone. Having bought a new hard drive, I decided to skip it in Crystal Disk Mark for fun, and was surprised to find that the old 1 TB HDD (3 years old) has a 2-fold lower speed / read write than the new one.
Question: Is it due to the fact that one is older? Or do the indicators differ from their volume? (new on 2 TB).61854c423de4d065762069.png

Have you ever seen speed graphics in articles about testing disks?

The graphs show that the speed at the beginning of the disk is just about twice as high as the speed at the end of the disk. And you can see in the screenshots that a terabyte disk is 85% full, and a two-terabyte disk is empty. Accordingly, on the first test was at the end of the disk, and on the second at the beginning of the disk.
And under the same conditions (both disks are empty), the difference in speed would be insignificant.

Well, the volume is unlikely, but the cache can influence.
Are you sure both drives are 7200 rpm?
2tb - not a server by any chance?

Of course, this is possible, for example, an old 1TB disk has 1 platter inside, and a new 2TB disk has two, data from two platters are read in parallel, so the speed is twice as high.
