Is the integrated graphics card suitable for parallel computing?

Does the integrated graphics card use the CPU core or does it have its own? Is the integrated video card suitable for parallel computing (encryption, etc.)?
(Intel HD Graphics 520 in core i5-6200U)
Or is it better to take a discrete one?

Yes.
But why?
The processor already has auxiliary instructions.
And you still need to load the map and unload the result - this is also time.

Parallel computing is different libraries. First, decide which library suits you best. Plus the price limit. For example, Tesla (Nvidia) can be translated into special. calculation mode, in this case, it will not be possible to connect a monitor to the output.
