Will a 2x 6+2 pin power supply work with an 8+6 pin graphics card?

I want to purchase a video card with additional power supply 8 + 6 pins, but my block has only two 6 + 2 each. Will I be able to power the card by connecting one connector as 8 pin (Which is 6+2) and the other as just 6?
