Easily. The main thing is that from 8 gigabytes of RAM. 4 GB is not enough.
There is something strange in poppies with RAM, or is it Unix-like behavior when all RAM is reserved, but not used, or this kind of optimization, but in reality I have 3-4 out of 16 GB free. Profile - PHP and Android development, constantly 1-2 virtual machines (Vagrant, Genymotion).
On Windows, 8 gigabytes is enough for me.
I have 2.8 out of 16 free now. Webstorm, Opera, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Slack, Sketch, Skype are open and a couple of node servers are running. Oh, I wouldn't take a car with 8GB.
For XCode, this is definitely enough, but hardly for comfortable work on the web.
