Is it possible to run Windows and Ubuntu Server at the same time?

Is it possible to run Windows and Ubuntu Server at the same time?
And Ubuntu Server works constantly.
And Windows can be turned on/off.
I feel it has to do with virtualization.
In which direction to dig?

On windows Server, raise the Hyper-V role
In the management console, select the quick creation of a virtual machine, in the list of available ones, select 18.04 lts
After 20 minutes, it will be installed

Kenneth1 ,

I want to run Windows 10 and Ubuntu Server at the same time.
A web server will be running on Ubuntu Server.
And on Windows 10 I will work from time to time.
What to do?
Your Wishlist will not work - Linux servers do not have a GUI and you will not be able to admire the Windows server anywhere (even if it is also a console server). in order to work locally on a computer in guis, you need the host system to have guis right away. so put the desktop ubuntu right away, and in it the virtualbox upd or any other hypervisor to your liking
What about video card forwarding?
if a host with GUIs - not required
if without GUIs - 2 video cards are required. Linux as a host does not work without a vidyuhi (more precisely, you need to configure, for example, the console through a com port, but this will not help you in any way). and even if it worked, by forwarding the card you would still be left without local management tools. that is, they would not be able to start and extinguish the
ps virtual machine, the rest of the workable options are already listed in the marked answers
pps but in general, do not create difficulties from scratch. you don’t have a highload server at home (and if the highload is a GUI system in a virtual machine, it will choke it). I would still recommend the option proposed by Vladimir Korotenko . after playing with extended mode for Ubuntu, he returned Windows to the role of the host system
