How to use only VPN in a virtual machine? (drop vpn'a = drop internet connection)?

Good day, I have the following situation, on the guest OS (windows 10) I use a VPN client, so all traffic initially goes from the host Internet connection, and after it is captured by the VPN client, the problem is that if the VPN drops for some reason, the guest OS continues to use the host's IP. Whether it is possible to make so that for example on guest OS all traffic at once went through VPN the client on this guest OS? Well, so that when the VPN drops or breaks on the guest OS, the Internet simply disappears until the connection directly to the VPN is restored.
I understand that everything can be implemented through the same whonix gateway and the like, but if in this case the VPN drops on the guest OS, then the ip from the torus will be in blacklists and other points, I don’t really need it).
I also used VPNcheck, it breaks the connection if the VPN drops, but in order to restore the connection from the VPN, you need to press the switch in the VPNcheck program, and in this case, the traffic first of all comes from the host system and the host ip accordingly fires, I don’t need it.
ps All this is needed not for some kind of crime in the Internet environment and other things, everything is absolutely clean, you just don’t need the same ip on many guest OSes. Thanks in advance to everyone who responds!

Yes, there is a very beautiful solution - to break the Internet in the guest system by disabling the default gateway, i.e. the local network will work (to the host system and its router to access the Internet), but there is no Internet.
Then you add route add vpn the provider's server to the gateway, and you get a working vpn. When connecting a vpn, the network will work through it, and when disconnected, it will only work up to the vpn server
