There is a desktop computer with licensed Windows 10, which is activated with a key and linked to a Microsoft Office 2016 account. The computer is not planned to be used.
There is a laptop with licensed Windows 10.
Is there any way to uninstall Office on a computer and install it on a laptop using the same key, logging in to the same Microsoft account? Or does the key have a hard binding to the hardware?

You can transfer a license from computer to computer (after deleting it from the old device) an unlimited number of times, but not more than 1 time in 90 days.

No need for "somehow". Uninstall with the regular Office 2016 uninstall tool.
