How to shrink W8.1 taskbar?

Hello everyone, at first glance, the question is quite simple and even a housewife can google and cope with it. But I have a more serious problem. The question is this, I have the panel in a vertical position on the right, and I want to reduce it in width, in the default way - "Unpin the taskbar - Pull the arrow to the end" This is all clear, it costs point-blank, but you need even less at least by eye ~ 10-15px, I tried to reduce the icons, but this only reduces the panel in a horizontal position, it does not work in a vertical one (Thanks Bill!) The desire to slightly reduce the panel arose after I tried Ubuntu where you can make the panel width any you like. (I have a resolution of 1920 by 1080, I want a smaller socket to save space) So I need to slightly reduce it in width.
Discarding stupid suggestions and questions
1) No, I don't want to use ubuntu. (Only for the sake of the beauty of the panel there is no point, otherwise I like W8)
2) There is no desire to roll back to W7.
3) I tried the task tweaker, the program is good, there is no way to reduce the width of the panel.
4) Yes, I am such a Perfectionist that I burn if the panel is 10px larger than my eye needs.

As an option: google to help in finding a replacement for the standard desktop shell (explorer).

No way, you can either hide it completely or with a minimum width.

I don't understand this desire. for what purpose do you want a panel on the side? then little climbs on it.
