Firefox 6 freezes for a few seconds (validation.sls.microsoft.com)?

515e8e85d67def44daef63d22fe0ef90.firefox
Here's what he's trying to get out of there, and why some Validation got into my browser and broke it.
All MS plugins are disabled.
What to do?
Chrome does not offer.
upd. Thoughtful digging revealed that getItemAnnotation hangs, which indicates problems with SessionStore
upd2. it is very likely that Firefox Sync causes problems with the SessionStore when you download data from Sync on the problem computer. That is, in order to solve the problem, it is enough to clear the cache, logs, etc., everything that Firefox offers to clean there except passwords.

It is quite possible that this is not FF's fault, but an update from Microsoft was automatically downloaded and installed (a new one came out to check the license). You can try to write the line in the hosts file:
127.0.0.1 validation.sls.microsoft.com

I'm not sure what it is, but there is an Advanced->Encryption->Validation item in the settings. As I understand it, it climbs the server to check certificates.
