Will Microsoft support the classic .Net Framework?

A comparison on the official Microsoft website tells us that the only reason why you can still use the .Net Framework is the old applications and api under Windows, all other pluses are on the .Net Core side. When creating projects in VS, the .net core assembly for web projects is also set by default everywhere.
Will Microsoft support the .NET Framework - or is it old?

Of course it will, I will even say more, they still support web forms.
