Windows Phone has live tiles. How to make such in Windows 8.1 for applications like Store, Office, Photos?

Press the right button and select resp. menu item.
If the application is not on the home screen - find it in the general list, right-click, select the corresponding menu item.
Right button = long press on the screen.
