Is it possible to restrict HTTPS traffic using delay_pools in Squid3?
There is a server on Debian 8.4 (x64) + Squid 3.4.8 (working as an authentication proxy), the task is to shape traffic to proxy users. The necessary delay_pools are specified in squid.conf, but the problem is that only HTTP traffic is cut, HTTPS goes to the user without restrictions. There is fragmentary information on foreign resources that when processing https requests, squid uses the CONNECT method, which cannot be processed using delay_pools. Is it possible to limit HTTPS using delay_pools, or use something else instead of squid for this purpose?

you can try an alternative to cut traffic directly through, for example, htb.init - wiki.enchtex.info/howto/htb
