Is it possible to replace a failed HDD?

I bought an HDD back in September, and now it began to buzz and slow down suspiciously during operation, but when I bought it, I did not issue additional guarantees, there is only a check. Can I exchange/repair it?

The absence of a cash or sales receipt is not a basis for refusal ... the consumer can refer to witness testimony, etc.
The guarantee is given by the manufacturer (importer), the seller can only expand it voluntarily, but not reduce or cut it!
For any sneeze (almost) - you have the right. Of course, it is necessary to accurately and specifically describe the symptoms at the reception, call them undesirable, which manifested themselves only now, and not immediately. And, of course, it should be the fault of the disk, not the OS or other hardware.

You can try. But buzzing is not a warranty case. The HDD didn't fail.
Take off the smart info, if there are bads - at least you can go with this.
