Selling a license to use the site. How is it better?

Good day to all!
I apologize in advance for punctuation marks and so on)
In April of this year, I started developing a website to automate the educational process in colleges.
I did not think about how, when and for how much I would start selling the final product, I was just sure that it would be of interest to colleges.
At the beginning I planned to sell copies and install them separately for each college, as a result I came up with the idea that it would be more convenient to keep all colleges on one site, and create a separate database for each college, and when entering the site, the desired college is simply selected.
Questions to which I really want to get answers and I hope you can help me:
Product - an indefinite name of my product.
1) What is the name of the "product" I offer?"license to use the site" or...?
2) Is asking $600 a year from college a lot or a little?
3) How to sell "product" to public colleges?
4) What is needed to sell a "product", open an individual entrepreneur, etc.?
The way I see it at work:
The college pays me $600, creates a database for the college, then I train a couple of people in the college to use the administration part to manage the whole thing and that's it. Further technical support.

2) The price should be based on some initial data.
600$/year = 50$/month
To have at least 1000$/month you need to connect 20 clients. can you do it? If yes, then everything is ok. If not, then you should raise the price.
Do not forget about the cost of infrastructure (servers). How many servers will it take to hold 10 clients? What about 20? What about 100? And where to put backups?
This also includes technical support for the whole business. How long will it take to support 10 clients? What about 100? Who will be doing this? Who will go to the site to solve problems?
At Mrs. institutions have a budget that is planned for the year ahead. They can’t just take it and pay someone a big sum. So product promotion needs to start BEFORE they close the budget for next year.
If the product is worth it, then it is worth trying to push it to the top, then the price will not matter much, and customers will not have a choice.

I just got on your site, looked around, and what I know or found:
1. Kindergarten, where my daughter went, has its own website.
2. All gymnasiums and most schools in the city have their own websites.
3. All colleges in the city have their own websites.
4. The medical school has its own website.
5. There are corresponding thematic groups of VK
. This is a small district town in Belarus. Is the situation really different in Astana?
Before you go out to sell your product, find out and think:
a) What do your 40 colleges have now?
b) Why does the director of the college need a headache with the regular posting of student grades on some "left" site, and even pay for it ???
c) Why do students need a chat on some site if they already have VK, Skype, etc.?

@zkelo

1. License to use the product "Product".
2. In my opinion, not enough.
3. I don't know.
4. Yes, and it's good to recommend the product so that they pay attention to it.

I agree with Andrey Ermachenok . Have you verified the need for your product?
Simply, sir. institutions all must be represented online (nowadays). In addition, several resources have already been developed for educational institutions, where records are kept on academic performance, etc.
Unfortunately, I do not remember their names, but they have already been launched and even had several rounds of attracting investments.
So, first you need to study the market.
