If the motherboard is burned out (and smells like burnt), is it covered under warranty?

Hello. Bought a motherboard. Burned out the next day (and smells burnt in the socket area). The service center said that the capacitors burned out. The guarantee is denied, they repeat "something burned it." (Now, by the way, I bought another mainland - it works for 2 weeks) After the phrase (I quote) "when you inserted the processor into the socket, some kind of detail got there" I almost fell off my chair))) (well, they thought that the kettle, you need some hang noodles =)))
This is a small office, they are engaged in subordination, and the sale is mainly used equipment. Motherboard BU-shnaya. In terms of guarantee, a purely decorative piece of paper, they say for 3 months.
Actually a question. How does everything happen in such cases with warranty service? Those. if something is on fire. Also here, for example,
thanks in advance.

If you did not physically set it on fire with an open fire, then it is subject to.

The guarantee is denied, they repeat "something burned it."
What does the warranty cover then?
Anything that is not physical impact should be covered by the warranty.
