Is it possible to connect a 4 pin fan to a video card with a 2 pin connector through an adapter? Is it safe for the card?
In general, there is a Palit GT 1030, I want to change its cooler, but the problem is that it has only a 2pin fan connector, and my cooler has a 4 pin connector. Nothing will happen if I buy a 4 pin to 2 pin adapter and connect this cooler to the card?

Eruol , yes, this is not a joke, tukreb just misunderstood which side has 2 pins and which side has 4.
Theoretically, what he wrote in the answer could have taken place if, on the contrary, there were 4 on the map pin, and on the fan 2. Although I have not heard of such problems in real life. But you never know.
In any case, the above does not apply to your case. When there are 2 pins on the card, the card does not try to determine the rotation speed - there is no measuring pin on the card itself. About the noise at maximum speed is also wrong. With two pins, if the card, in principle, wants to control the fan speed, it will stupidly regulate the supply voltage.
