Is it normal for a PM to run 7 mobile development projects at the same time?
Having worked in a non-mobile field, I know that 2-3 projects is the maximum for managing a project well without losing understanding of what is generally going on and staying sane.
Maybe in mobile development everything is different and the number of 7-10 projects is not critical?

There are counter questions here:
I think that a "project" can be called a lot of things. From this follows their volume and complexity, and hence the ability to manage them.
If the projects are not complex, for the development of existing ones, then 7 is difficult, but feasible.
If there are 7 full-fledged complex projects, then most likely it will be very difficult and up to the failure of all.
Right now I have 3 complex projects, 4 medium projects and a lot of small tasks and I feel like I can't handle some of them. And there are still large tasks for which I still "do not have time" to take on. I am on the client side.
with assistants it’s real,
whether it’s June PM (dangerous), analysts or products
If for show, then yes, I met this. And not only in virtual mode. But really, no, that's not possible.
And I will add. Such a PM was also a Scrum Master.
2-3, maximum 4 projects. If, of course, we are talking about the full management of the project ...
