If there are only a few devices, it may be more convenient and understandable to implement them with scripts.
Although if the printer is just the beginning, then IMHO Zabbix will allow monitoring other elements of the network in the future.

Next, a connection with any accounting system is required, because. analysis and accounting is required. Zabbih is not an accounting system by either side. If there is time for entertainment with monitoring, then it is easier to collect statistics through snmpwalk and sew it to something a la 1C. If there is no time, it is wiser to buy a ready-made solution.
